Developed after years of research, Essential is a unique combination of functional oils that is a natural feed ingredient used to replace antibiotics from animal and aquaculture feeds. It improves animal productivity while lowering overall costs.

Oligo Essential is a synergistic mix of functional oils with antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Inclusion of Oligo Essential is suitable for all livestock including, but not limited to: poultry, swine, and ruminants.
Oligo Essential acts as a naturally occurring ionophore with two modes of action by disrupting both monovalent and divalent ions. Having two modes of action not only makes the product extremely effective against gram-positive bacteria and protozoa, but also makes resistance development nearly impossible. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of Oligo Essential help to improve epithelial cell regeneration and improves intestinal recovery. This increases nutrient uptake efficiency and reallocates energy towards growth, instead of maintenance and repair.

 1- Activity Against Cocci: Essential is active against protozoa and will remove cocci, eliminating the “gateway” for Clostridium. If cocci cannot deteriorate the intestinal wall, Clostridium will have difficulty causing necrotic enteritis.

 2- Activity Against Clostridium: Essential’s ionophore acting activity against gram positive bacteria will directly destroy Clostridium, the bacteria responsible for necrotic enteritis.

 3- Improves Intestinal Integrity: Essential’s antioxidant activity improves the integrity of the intestine by reducing degradation. The intestinal wall will be more robust and better suited to protect against all pathogens.
